Things to Do in Denver this Summer

Denver residents are known for being outdoorsy. We can’t help it. Whether it’s hiking, biking, white water rafting, zip lining or any other number of outdoor activities, we love it. Unfortunately, not all of us can make it to the mountains every weekend this summer. Here are a few unconventional outdoor activities you can do right here in the city.

The Big Wonderful

 Saturdays: Noon – 7:30pm

The Big Wonderful is an outdoor market that has everything for all ages. Food trucks to cure those hunger pains; a unique assortment of vendors, a beer garden, beach volleyball, and a stage ready for entertainment. This is an experience you don’t want to miss.==

Denver Flea

June 27- 28

The Denver Flea Summer Flea will be the coolest, pop, flea market that you have ever been to. With the latest location posted (inside a parking garage?! Seriously!) you are not going to want to miss it. Free New Belgium Beer if you register in advance, live concerts, great vendors and more.

Jazz in the Park

Sundays: 6pm – 8pm

Grab some friends, food, and a blanket and head over to City Park for an afternoon in the park. Spend the day there; pick up a game of volleyball, walk your dog, or have a picnic with friends while you enjoy the live Jazz music. Don’t worry if you forget your picnic, there are food trucks around that will fix that problem.

Mercury Café

Looking for something a bit more unique? Mercury Café is the place for you. This place has something going on almost every night. With live music, poetry, and dancing. You can learn the tango, watch a performance or just meets some friends for a bite to eat.

Anything at Red Rocks

Whatever is going on at Red Rocks that peaks your interest, just do it. Whether it’s a Film on the rocks with the Family, Yoga on the Rocks with your bestie, or a late night concert with friends. You are guaranteed a good time and lasting memories.

If all else fails, head over to a UDR Denver apartment community and ask for a tour. We can’t wait to show you the spectacular views. Share your photos by tagging them with #UDRAptViews
