During the month of February, Americans see the human heart as the symbol of love. February not only marks Valentine’s Day, but also American Heart Month, a time to show yourself the love. A healthy diet and lifestyle are your best weapons in the fight against heart disease. Great heart-healthy foods that include antioxidants, lean proteins, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids will help you maintain a healthy weight and keep your lipid levels in check for better heart health.
