Brunch in Brooklyn

With Summer in full swing and Manhattanites fleeing to the Eastern coasts, I make it a point to avoid the mad rush out of the city and instead enjoy day trips out to some of the hot spots the boroughs have to offer.

Le Barricou

One of my favorite destinations right over the Williamsburg Bridge and a quick stop on the L train is Le Barricou. Le Barricou’s menu is a blend of Parisian and American comfort food. At Le Barricou, you can expect to be whisked away into a charming setting with rustic yet chic décor. If you’re going to brunch, make sure you order their poached eggs, pancakes, and famous Bloody Mary’s to get the full effect!

After brunch, you can continue your Brooklyn adventure by taking a stroll through McCarren Park and maybe head out thrift shopping at Buffalo Exchange.

Happy Adventures!
