Best Ice Cream Shops in Seattle

Ice cream is inarguably the most delicious of all summer treats, whether it’s slathered with booze or simply perched on a crunchy cake cone. So why not treat yourself this summer to some of Seattle’s best ice cream?

 Molly Moon’s

The ever-popular Seattle chain of modern-rustic ice cream shops now has six locations. Scooping up experimental flavors like salted caramel and honey lavender, this is the very definition of ice cream nirvana.

LICK Pure Cream

Lick was recently named one of Thrillist’s 33 best ice cream shops in America. Chef Michael Darby’s cool project serves up small-batch, extra rich, offbeat creations like bacon cornbread, mango mascarpone and Southern Comfort. With 9 locations now, you have no excuses.

Bluebird Creamery

Bluebird is as much a destination for kiddos as it is for adults: Little ones love bowls of ice cream infused with the likes of pink-iced animal crackers, and grown-ups can fill take-home growlers of Chocolate Milk Stout. Personally, i think the chocolate pudding ice cream sounds ridiculously good.

Husky Deli

4721 California Ave. S.W.

This West Seattle icon is where everyone heads for cups and cones. The family-owned shop has been making its ice cream for over 75 years! The salted caramel is spot on: not too sweet, with a ribbon of the sticky goo running throughout.

Scoop du Jour

4029 E. Madison St.

Grab some of Scoop Du Jour’s delicious ice cream in a waffle cone and walk down to the park or waterfront in Madison Park.
