Best Brunch Spots in LA

I don’t know about you, but brunch is my favorite meal of the day. I can eat a runny egg….always. So I love finding new brunch places wherever I am. While I lived in LA, I found a few regular spots that I would love to share with you now.

Overland Café is on Overland, just north of Venice blvd in the Culver City/Palms area. Fantastic Eggs Benedict and French Toast. And, if you’re in the mood for a little bubbly, they have a flat $5.00 fee for 2 hours of unlimited champagne! I mean…how can you compete with that?

The Lazy Daisy has two locations both on the West side of LA. And their Lazy Daisy breakfast is the perfect combination for someone who wants a little taste of everything. Two eggs any style, your choice of French toast, pancakes or a waffle, and bacon or sausage! I mean…come on! And the whole meal is like…$10.00. Boom.

26 Beach in Marina del Rey is not for the faint at heart. If you only eat egg whites and granola…go somewhere else. The Tiramisu, Go Bananas, Chocolate Explosion are just some of the names of their French toast options. They also have great egg scrambles and a whole section of Hawaiian breakfasts. If lunch is more your thing, their burger menu is one of the largest in LA. I’ve never had something there I didn’t like. But get there early, or you’ll wait in line for 2-4 hours. Seriously. That’s how good this place is.

Urth Caffé has a few locations including downtown. Their coffee is awesome and egg frittatas are pretty bomb. You might also recognize their Beverly Hills location from the HBO series Entourage. Vince and the boys had many a brunch there!
