3 Dates Ideas in Boston That Will Have You in Stitches

The most memorable dates aren’t always the romantic ones where you put on your best Armani and sit in a candlelit restaurant. Sometimes laughter is the best way to break the ice and truly get to know one another. Even if you’ve been dating (or married) for years, you can still deepen your bond by laughing together. Here are three date ideas in Boston and Back Bay area that will have you in stitches.

  1. Bad Art and Good Food

Take your date to a museum? Before you write this off as a boring rather than boisterous, consider the possibilities of the collection at The Museum of Bad Art. Here you don’t have to study up on van Gogh or know the difference between impressionism and pointillism to impress that special someone—you simply need a sense of humor. MOBA has upwards of 250 pieces in its collection and displays 25 or so at a time. Once you’ve had a good laugh, head over to Redbones Barbecue to grab a bite to eat.

  1. Play Some Games

While it usually aggravating when your love interest plays games, it’s actually a lot of fun to break out the board games on date night. Invite a few other couples over to Boston luxury apartment and host a game night. Guesstures and Would You Rather…? are both classics, or for something a little more irreverent, grab Cards Against Humanity and let the hilarity ensue. Oh, and don’t forget to stock up on snacks and drinks.

  1. Comedy and Karaoke

An evening at Laugh Boston offers upscale pub food perfect for sharing, an array of alcohol and sidesplitting comedians—both local up-and-comers and national headliners. For a different type of comedy at the club, check out Karaoke or Die where singers compete in front of a panel of comedians and a live audience.
